Missing German Shepherds
Found- two missing German Shepherds
5/24/11 This morning, two beautiful and very nice German Shepherds showed up on our doorstep. They have no tags or collars. We are keeping them on the side of our house at 19718 Amazon Basin Bend for a few days. We may take them to the vet and see if they have microchips with their information. If anyone has any information regarding these dogs, please call us at 813-388-6291 (home) or cell 813-997-6892 (Amy)

Suspicious Vehicle in the neighborhood at 4:30 am on Sunday, May 22.
A dark blue or black economy hatchback with Florida license plate 528-KAR was slowly driving through the neighborhood at about 4:30 am May 22. A neighbor followed the car. They pulled into a driveway on Amazon Basin Bend, but when the neighbor didn’t leave, they quickly left the neighborhood.
Vehicle left on Coastal Range Way near Wild Water Cove
An older white car was “abandoned” on Coastal Range Way near Wild Water Cove. The vehicle license tag is 547-TEE. I contacted the Sheriff’s Office. Within minutes, the deputy was out and checked the vehicle and area.
The driver may have been from True Green soliciting door-to-door. The deputy questioned the driver and took his information.

Gates secured
The fire department returned to the Sanctuary an reset the gate to be closed.
Entry Gate on Livingston Open
At 9:28 p.m. last night, the fire department came into our neighborhood. They have a special key to open (and close) the gates. Unfortunately, we found out they failed to close when they left.
Fire Department officials are on their way as of 6:51 p.m. to use their key to close the gates.
April 30 Board Meeting (Draft) Minutes Published
Go to the main website http://www.sanctuaryonlivingston.com under Association Info. and Minutes to view the document.
The minutes have not been approved by the Board.
Results of gate-survey
The results are in, and a majority of our Members want the gates closed.
The Board conducted what was a second survey — you might recall we did one last year — and by far the majority of our Members want the gates closed at all times. The Board voted to comply with Members’ wishes.
Another item on the survey asked for input about using a security arm to help prevent vehicles from following somebody into the community. The survey results were less clear on this item, so your Board will evaluate the cost/benefit of using an arm. We want to find out what other communities think about this option since we think the arms may be frequently broken if a vehicle drives through or if the arm closes too quickly, such as when a vehicle with a trailer attempts to come through. The Board will discuss this in the next meeting.
Sanctuary on Livingston Sign Replacement
Thanks to Bob Hornbeck for all his hard work in getting the Sanctuary sign replaced. Many neighbors have shared how pleased they are and how nice the new sign looks.
Thanks Bob.

It was also decided that Tom Sweet would lead a committee to address some issues that were expressed by Members to get input and draft a further updated version for the Members to vote at an upcoming meeting.
